Applicant Advising Session
30 Minutes | $125
A 30-minute tailored conversation for applicants with a defined law school application issue. You will meet directly with Cynthia to discuss the issue you bring and work through your options.
Applicants use this session for questions such as: Should I write an addendum? Should I retake the LSAT? Should I apply this cycle? How should I approach my school list? How do I handle a character and fitness disclosure? What should I do about a waitlist response or a scholarship offer?
You leave with a clear read on the issue and a specific next step.
This session is not suitable for document review and does not include written feedback, drafting, editing, or ongoing support.
Essay Strategy Session
45 minutes | $235
An essay can be well written and still not work. The issue is often deeper than style: the story may not be the right one, the approach may not reveal enough about you, or the piece may repeat what the application already makes clear.
In this live session, you will meet directly with Cynthia to discuss the essay’s direction. Is this the right story? Is the essay helping the admissions committee understand something meaningful? What does this piece add to the application?
Before your session, you share the idea, outline, or draft, up to 1,200 words, along with a short note about where the essay fits within your application. You leave with a clearer sense of what is working, what may need to change, and how to approach the next stage of the essay.
This service is designed for essay strategy, not line editing, rewriting, or drafting new material.
Re-Application Strategy Review
Price: $345
A thorough review of your prior law school application for applicants who did not receive the results they expected and want to understand what needs to change before reapplying.
This review draws on Cynthia’s experience as a former admissions reader for a top-ten law school, her work advising applicants through a leading law school admissions firm, and her work in the nonprofit law admissions space.
Before your session, Cynthia personally reviews your core prior application materials and cycle outcomes, including your personal statement, résumé, up to two supplemental essays, and up to two addenda. You then meet with Cynthia for a 60-minute strategy discussion to review what the file conveyed, whether it presented a clear throughline, where it was effective, where the file may not have been as clear, cohesive, or persuasive as it could have been, and what should be approached differently in the next cycle
You leave with a clearer sense of your reapplication priorities and next steps.
This service is designed for reapplication strategy, not line editing or drafting new materials.
One-Time Essay Edit
Price: $645
For applicants who have a working draft of a law school application essay and want substantive written feedback before the next stage of revision.
This service includes review of one essay draft of up to 1,200 words by a professional writer working with CW Admissions, with Cynthia providing admissions review and oversight. The review addresses content, structure, clarity, tone, narrative focus, and how effectively the essay contributes to the broader application.
You receive one round of written feedback and editing on the draft. This service is narrower than full essay development and does not include a live session, brainstorming from scratch, unlimited revision rounds, separate proofreading, or broader application strategy.
Applicants who are still deciding what story to tell or whether an essay is the right approach should consider the Essay Strategy Review instead.
